THOMAS HENDERSON ~ ACADEMY INSTRUCTOR

Thomas originates from the North East of England and developed his passion for the game at Middlesbrough Brass Castle Golf Club, Thomas played competitive amateur golf representing Yorkshire before turning Professional in 2003.

Thomas’ first appointment was at the flagship De Vere property Slaley Hall in Northumberland where he spent four years as an Assistant Golf Professional learning all aspects of the golfing game including tournament organization, tuition and shop management

Thomas’ next career move took him to The Grove in Hertfordshire furthering his development and knowledge if the golfing industry teaching a wide range of students from juniors to adults from all corners of the globe.

It wasn’t until arriving at The Montogemrie in 2010 that Thomas realized his real passion for teaching.

Thomas’ philosophy on coaching is to start by building solid foundations providing a straight forward approach to simplifying the fundamentals of the golf swing.
