Matthew Naylor~ Academy Instructor

Matthew’s passion for teaching and learning new ideas about the golf swing, has led him to various world renowned coaches, including , Butch Harmon, Bob Torrance, and Pete Cowan, to learn about their believes and ideas of the golf swing. This has led to his own believe in that there is no one way to swing the club, and we have to teach the individual.

Matthew still kept his playing career up by playing in Tartan Tour events throughout Scotland, and his personal career highlight was winning 2 events in 2006 and breaking a course record with an 11-under par 61. He is still keen on his playing career as it enables him to learn new ideas, which can be passed on to all his students.

Matthew believes that it is important to pass on all the knowledge he has been lucky enough to gain through his experiences, to golfers of all levels and abilities, and that this should be done in a fun relaxed environment to maximize the students learning potential.
