LUKE CANTELO ~ SENIOR ACADEMY INSTRUCTOR

Luke originates from Coffs Harbour, Australia where he turned Professional in 2000 at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club in New South Wales. His training continued with a move to The Killara Golf Club in Sydney where he completed his P.G.A. Training in 2002. An accomplished player, Luke competed on the P.G.A. Europro Tour prior to a return to Coffs Harbour, this time at the highly acclaimed Bonville International Golf Resort where he occupied the role of Teaching Professional, providing tuition to members, guests and corporate groups.

Luke�s next step would take him to Singapore where over the last two and a half years he has been instructing at The Gary Player Golf Academy and The Next Golf Academy where he has become a well respected coach as well a writing numerous instructional articles and appearing on ESPN Star Sports television program- �Golf Focus�. The highlight of this television work came in April 2006 when ESPN flew Luke to The Masters tournament at Augusta National, to interview the players and provide day to day analysis of the tournament.

Luke still kept his game in shape by playing small professional events throughout Asia and this combination of golfing and teaching experience has allowed his knowledge base and teaching style to grow year by year.

Luke believes that his- �most important role as a P.G.A. Professional is to grow and promote the game of golf to all ages and skill levels, and to give others the same enjoyment and satisfaction that I have had for many years.�
