Yoga for Golf Sessions at TMD

Yoga-for-Sports, a yoga based sports fitness regime conceptualized by TMD member - Alok Khanna and the CEO of Yoga-for-Sports,  recently concluded 3 free trial sessions on Yoga-for-Golf held at club.  Yoga-for-Golf is a unique fitness regime designed by  - as the Time magazine called him, the living Himalayan yogi - Bharat Thakur and it aims to improve and enhance the physical as well as the mental attributes that are of extreme importance in the game of golf. It was conducted by Manish Pole, a highly experienced yoga teacher who has taught yoga to many professional golfers in India.  The sessions were well received and appreciated by the golf citizens and guests and it also attracted a lot of non-golfers too who were interested in imporving their general physical as well as mental fitness.   Yoga asanas (postures) and tratak kriya (focus techniques) using the golf club and balls as props were performed.   Regular sessions on Yoga-for-Golf will now be held thrice a week every Monday, Wednesday and Saturdays at 06:30pm at the Academy side lawns and there will be 3 levels of fitness, namely the Par, Birdie and Eagle levels.
