The Tradition 2009

The Montgomerie, Dubai hosted The Tradition 2009 with a combined Men’s, Ladies’ and mixed field. 
Even through the fog, the Tradition rose above all other golf tournaments for 2 magnificent days of great team spirit and momentous celebration. 

Scott Bradbrock and Paul Moir were victorious with an overall total of 165. This score was good enough to not only to win, but were clear of the entire field by 3 shots. 

In the mixed division the team of Shravan Khanna and Connie Sayal defeated the mixed field by two shots from the runners up Debbie Murray and Sean Casey. In Ladies event the competition was quite heated with a three way tie at the top. Upon count back Fiona Linn and Elena Connarmond were the eventual winners, just beating the teams of Barb McBean and Agnes Anwar; and Sheeena Holtkamp and Nina Larm. In the Men’s B division results Vincent Brank and his partner Nigel Pinto took a one shot win over John Millar and Mark Connelly with the total score of 175. Men’s Division A was a tight race but Dillon Gohil and Joe Morrin pulled out the victory over Danny Holtkamp and Martin Lambert with the score of 168. 

In other prizes Sheena Holtkamp and Debbie Murray were the big winners, collecting 3 proximities each. Sheena won two long drives and one closest to the pin, while Debbie picked up 2 Closest to the pin and one long drive.
